At One Recovery Bucks, we provide a confidential, free and easy-to-access service to anyone living in Buckinghamshire impacted by their own, or someone else’s use of alcohol and drugs.
This page is dedicated to assisting professionals who work with individuals affected by drugs and alcohol across Buckinghamshire. Whether you’re here to make a referral, looking for some guidance, or would like some information about opportunities to enhance your knowledge, we can help.

Professional Referrals
Professionals can refer clients directly to One Recovery Bucks using our secure online referral platform.
Training Sessions
Basic Drug & Alcohol Awareness – An introductory session covering key substances, effect, risks and signs of use.
Overdose Awareness & Naloxone Training – Guidance on recognising overdose, responding effectively, and administering naloxone to prevent drug‑related deaths.
Alcohol Brief Advice & Information Training – Builds skills in delivering brief, evidence‑based interventions to support individuals in reducing alcohol‑related harm.
Specialist Drug & Alcohol Training for Pharmacists – Designed for pharmacy teams, including safe and effective Needle Exchange delivery, harm‑reduction principles, and best practice for community engagement.
Bespoke Drug Awareness Training – Tailored sessions created to meet the specific needs of organisations.
Information Sessions
We host regular online information sessions for professionals working with people who may benefit from drug and alcohol treatment/support, or staff members from our partner agencies who would like to expand their knowledge around drugs and alcohol.
The online sessions will:
- Provide information about our service in Buckinghamshire
- Outline our referral process and treatment options
- Provide basic drug and alcohol awareness training.
